so many of us watch your steps

Sometimes you think we're far away
when loneliness surrounds you.
But be assured that all the while
your angels are around you.

We carry you when you are weak,

We breathe into your weary soul
And fill you with our love.

These rainy days can linger on
and seem to never end.
Darkened by the clouds of gloom,
you think you have no friend.

But turn around - and see us there!
Wait for the morning light.
The rainbow's colors bring you hope
with promises so bright.

My little one, how many are
the times I've been with you.
I see the goodness of your heart,
I long to comfort you.

So let it rain and be at peace.
This mountain we will climb.
And when we reach the other side,
You'll thank me for this time.
